Yverose was a wonderful host and the home was great! I had a family emergency before the trip and she was so helpful and responsive as I worked to ensure the rest of our group could enjoy their stay. My group was there for a graduation and was only disappointed that they didn’t have more time to enjoy the property including the porch and fire pit. Overall a wonderful experience and if any of us were to return to the area we would stay here again.
Loved the location of the house and the size of it. was in CT for a baseball tournament and house slept all 10 of my guys perfect comfortably. perfect layout and setup for what we were looking for
Yverose is a wonderful host. Responsive. Direct. Honest. Great location. Strong internet. Spacious. INCREDIBLE porch. Beautiful landscaping. Quirky decor, which suits us. Interesting art. Comfortable beds. Well stocked. Quiet, despite being centrally located. Near everything we wanted to do. Felt like home!
This property was very ideal for what me, my family and friends needed. We were in town for a friends sons birthday party so I can’t speak much to the broader region but the property was spacious, the kitchen was large enough to cook for a large group and there was plenty of space on all three floors to hang out. The house is, as described, a historic home so don’t expect modern aesthetics or details but it has been very well maintained and I’m happy to report the owners have installed very powerful AC units in every bedroom and the dining room. The owners were very easy to book with, very responsive when we had questions and were courteous to boot!
My friends and I had a wonderful weekend at Yverose’s beautiful home while we were in town for a wedding! The house is just as described. It’s an old house but it has so much lovely charm and everything felt super clean. It slept 10 of us comfortably. We loved our evenings around the fire pit. Nice restaurant and cafe in walking distance too. AC’s were perfect and the house always felt super comfortable. Highly recommend this house if you’re looking for a place to stay in the area.
This is a wonderful historic house. My extended family stayed here and had a great time. It is easily walkable to downtown Watertown but also very private.
Beautiful interior, piano, character!
This is our second stay at Yverose’s roomy home. We have stayed both times for a family wedding in Watertown. The old house is filled with character! The linens and beds were clean and comfortable. Yverose provides thoughtful extras like wood for fireplaces and fire pits. She is easy to communicate with and very responsive
The unique home was a truly amazing experience. The grandchildren loved the yard. The porch was a peaceful gathering place or a serene place to just think or write or just sit and enjoy. A short drive brings many things to do or see. The piano was amazing. The artwork and history contained in those walls was a bonus gift.
The place was excellent. We really enjoyed our time there!!
A wonderful place to stay in Watertown. Old world charm with everything you need. Will certainly stay here again if it’s available.
